Maths Teacher – Andover Area
 Start Date: ASAP
 Contract: Long-Term until December 2025 (with the strong possibility of becoming permanent)
 Pay: £165 – £245 per day (dependent on experience)
 Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm | Full-Time
 Location: Andover

Position Overview

An independent school in Andover is seeking a Maths Teacher to join their growing team as soon as possible. This is a full-time role running until December 2025, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.

The school currently supports around 460 students aged 11–16 and is continuing to expand, making this an exciting time to join. You’ll play a key role in inspiring curiosity and achievement in Maths across Key Stage 3 within a supportive and forward-thinking department.

What You’ll Be Doing

Teaching Maths across KS3, adapting lessons for mixed abilities.
Monitoring student progress and providing meaningful feedback.
Creating a classroom culture of curiosity, respect, and high achievement.
Collaborating with a welcoming Maths department and contributing to whole-school initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or on the path to gaining QTS).
Experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A genuine passion for Maths and inspiring young learners.
Commitment to high standards and safeguarding.
