Job Description

FIND are a specialist staffing business, servicing the Skills, Learning & Apprenticeship markets across the UK. We're on the lookout for a Functional Skills Tutors to support with delivery of Maths to learners completing their vocational courses. 
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Functional Skills Delivery of the  Maths provision for learners. 
Deliver high-quality Functional Skills Classes adapting to various learning styles and needs to suit small groups of learners. 
Ensure inclusive teaching strategies are embedded across the team. 
Promote a positive learning environment that supports engagement, wellbeing, and progress. 
Develop and implement effective schemes of work and curriculum planning tailored to individual learner needs. 
Provide support of safeguarding measures. 
Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning standards, carrying out observations and learning walks. 
Track learner progress, outcomes, and achievement rates against key performance indicators (KPIs). 
Ensure compliance with awarding bodies, funding requirements, and college policies.    Person Specification:
Essential:
  
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, PTTLS) 
Level 2 or above qualification in English and Maths. 
Proven experience delivering Functional Skills - supporting learners with ALN's.  Salary up to £28,000 + additional benefits.
