Job Description

Mechanical Contract Manager

Peterborough | £75,000 - £85,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits

This is an opportunity to join a progressive contractor where you will play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical projects while working alongside experienced commercial, operational and technical teams.

The Position

Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
Lead project teams, site managers, engineers and subcontractors
Monitor project performance against programme and commercial objectives
Manage procurement activities and subcontractor packages
Attend client, consultant and site progress meetings
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
Oversee commissioning, snagging and project close-out activities
Ensure compliance with all health, safety and quality procedures
Support commercial teams with variations and change management
Produce regular project reports for senior management 

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience as a Mechanical Contract Manager within the Building Services sector
Strong technical understanding of HVAC, pipework and associated mechanical systems
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent organisational and leadership capabilities
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness and experience managing project performance
A proactive and solutions-driven approach to project delivery
