Job Description

Position: Mechanical Engineering Lecturer 
 Type: Full-Time, Temporary (Ongoing) 
 Location: Greater Manchester 
 Rate: £40 - £50 per hour 
 
 Eden Brown are seeking a motivated and experienced lecturer to deliver Mechanical Engineering courses across Level 2 and Level 3 for a leading further education college in Greater Manchester. 
 
 Job Role: 
 -Deliver engaging and practical lessons in engineering, including CAD, manufacturing support, machining, and maintenance & operations. 
 -Support students on Level 2 Extended Technical Diploma programmes and Level 3 National/Extended Diplomas. 
 -Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and provide timely feedback to students. 
 -Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth delivery of course content across multiple engineering disciplines. 
 -Monitor and report on student progress, attendance, and engagement. 
 
 Requirements: 
 - Relevant degree in Mechanical Engerineering or similar 
 -Relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent). 
 -Strong knowledge and experience in engineering 
 -Experience teaching Level 2 and Level 3- CAD, Machining, Maintenance, Metal Fabrication 
 -Ability to engage and motivate learners with diverse backgrounds. 
 -Flexible approach to teaching and ability to adapt to changing schedules. 
 
 A DBS is also needed for this role.
