Mechanical Technician

Location: Lasham

Salary: Competitive (doe)

To carry out maintenance and operational support activities at a well-established facility, ensuring equipment and systems are safe, reliable, and efficiently maintained.

Key Responsibilities for Mechanical Technician:

Perform routine and non-routine maintenance checks and repairs on mechanical equipment.
Assist with installation, commissioning, and servicing of new or existing systems.
Support safe operation of plant equipment, including isolations and monitoring as required.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external service providers to maintain standards.
Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to general housekeeping and ensure work areas are safe and organized.
Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues where needed.Qualifications & Experience for Mechanical Technician:

Relevant mechanical maintenance experience (apprenticeship or equivalent preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.
Experience with mechanical systems and equipment in an industrial setting.Competencies:

Reliable, proactive, and able to manage tasks under pressure.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.Additional Information:
