Up to £58,000 OTE £68,000 +

MET Technician / Strip & Fit

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MET Technician to join a modern, well-equipped accident repair centre in Dartford.

This business is known for its high-quality repairs, strong team culture, and commitment to manufacturer-approved repair methods. If you take pride in delivering exceptional workmanship and want to work in a professional environment where quality comes first, we'd like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Remove and refit mechanical, electrical, and trim components
Strip and rebuild vehicles to manufacturer standards
Dismantle accident-damaged vehicles for repair
Carry out diagnostics, inspections, and fault-finding
Complete steering, suspension, and wheel alignment work
Order and fit replacement parts
Reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition
Ensure all repairs meet quality, safety, and manufacturer requirements
Complete work efficiently within agreed repair times 

Requirements

Previous experience as a MET Technician, Strip Fitter, or Bodyshop Mechanic
Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
Ability to follow technical repair methods accurately
ATA, NVQ Level 3, or IMI Level 3 qualification advantageous
Positive attitude and commitment to high-quality repairs
