Job Description

Pertemps are currently looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established engineering and fabrication business based in Wednesbury. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled team within a modern, fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on mild steel and other materials.
Read and interpret technical drawings accurately to ensure precise fabrication.
Work to tight quality and safety standards across all welded components.
Carry out fabrication tasks including cutting, prepping, and assembling components.
Collaborate effectively within a production team to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
Ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times.Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in MIG welding and fabrication, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering setting.
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality work.
Good understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace.
Flexible, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.What’s on Offer:

Competitive hourly rate of £15.50, depending on experience.
Day shift - Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
