Job Description

MIG Welder/Fabricator

Location: Wednesbury
 Contract: Ongoing
 Hours:

Mon-Thurs: 07:00 - 16:00
Fri: 07:00 - 13:00Pay & Benefits

£13.00 per hour base rate
+ £1.00 p/h Attendance Bonus (awarded for completing 40 hours per week)
+ £1.00 p/h Production Bonus (based on meeting daily productivity targets)About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MIG Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team. The role involves producing bespoke, non-standard tarmac containers, offering variety beyond standard haulage container fabrication.

Key Responsibilities of a Mig Welder

MIG welding and fabrication of tarmac containers
Assembling and fitting components following drawings and instructions
Working to daily production targets
Maintaining high-quality workmanship
Adhering to health & safety guidelines at all timesRequired Skills & Experience

MIG Welding - Essential
TIG Welding - Desirable
Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
