Job Description

Our client, a well-established independent garage in Bracknell, is seeking a skilled and dedicated MOT Technician to join their reputable team.

Competitive basic salary £38,000 - £48,000 depending on qualifications and experience
Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm, with breaks – no weekend work

Perform routine services and maintenance, including brakes, suspension, clutches, and timing belts/chains
Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics
Carry out MOT testing for Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles (if MOT Licence held)
Ensure all work is completed to high standards to maximise customer satisfaction
Display enthusiasm and a desire for continuous professional development
Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet daily objectives
Maintain workshop organisation and cleanlinessRequirements:

Proven experience as an MOT Technician within a motor trade environment
Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
MOT Licence is preferable but not mandatory
Strong diagnostic skills for all vehicle makes and models
Positive attitude with a proactive, ‘can-do’ approach
Team player with excellent communication skills
