Job Description
Are you an experienced MOT Tester seeking a rewarding opportunity within a well-established family-run garage in Dartford? Perfect Placement Automotive Recruitment is currently sourcing a highly skilled MOT Tester / Service Technician on behalf of our reputable client. Duties:
* Conducting MOT tests on class 4 vehicles efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with current standards
* Assisting with basic vehicle servicing tasks, including brake, pad, and suspension replacements
* Diagnosing vehicle issues and communicating findings effectively to the workshop manager for repair or rectification
* Maintaining high standards of vehicle safety and legislative compliance
* Ensuring accurate and detailed documentation of all work undertaken
* Contributing to the smooth running of daily workshop operations
Requirements for the MOT Tester role:
* Proven experience as an MOT Tester with valid Class 4 certification
* Ability to perform MOT fail repairs and basic servicing tasks confidently
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
* Good organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
* Valid UK driving licence
* Relevant technical knowledge and experience of working in a similar automotive environment
