MOT Tester Vacancy - Leighton Buzzard Service Centre
Position: MOT Tester
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Basic Salary: up to £38,000
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
1 in 2 Saturday mornings

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced MOT Tester to join a well-established, family-run service centre in Leighton Buzzard. Known for their honest approach, quality workmanship, and loyal customer base, this business offers a stable and supportive working environment.
The successful new hire will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests efficiently and accurately, ensuring all vehicles meet DVSA standards while supporting the wider workshop when required.
Key responsibilities:
Conducting MOT tests in line with current regulations
Identifying faults and advising on necessary repairs
Assisting with servicing and general repairs where needed
Completing all relevant documentation accurately
Providing a high level of customer service
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) or time-served
Current MOT Testing Licence
Full UK driving licence
Previous workshop experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Own tools
