Job Description

Music Teacher – Shrewsbury – Summer Term (After Easter Start) | MPS / UPS Dependant on Experience
Tara Recruitment is currently supporting a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in the Shrewsbury area to recruit a talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher for the summer term, starting after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Music Teacher to inspire students and contribute to a creative and supportive department.
The school is located in a popular part of Shrewsbury with good transport links and a strong connection to the local community. Staff work collaboratively to provide a positive and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their creativity and confidence. The successful Music Teacher will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons that encourage students to explore performance, composition and musical appreciation.
This role is ideally full-time for the summer term, offering the opportunity for the right Music Teacher to become a valued part of the school community and make a meaningful impact during a key part of the academic year.
Salary:
MPS / UPS dependant on experience
The Role:
  * 
    Teaching Music to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  * 
    Planning and delivering engaging and creative music lessons
  * 
    Supporting students with performance, composition and musical understanding
  * 
    Marking and assessment in line with school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will:
  * 
    Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  * 
    Have experience teaching Music to GCSE level
  * 
    Be passionate about encouraging creativity and musical expression
  * 
    Be able to commit to the summer term position
