New Business Consultant
Altrincham | £32,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission | £65,000 OTE

If you're an experienced sales professional looking for a role where you can earn well without spending your day making cold calls, this could be worth a look.

We're recruiting for a growing UK financial services business looking to add experienced New Business Consultants to its team.

The role

You'll be dealing with inbound enquiries from contractors who are already interested in the service. Your job will be to understand what they need, explain the offering, handle any objections and convert the enquiry into a new customer.

It's a fast-paced telephone sales environment with relatively short sales cycles, plenty of opportunities to close and no requirement to spend your day making cold calls.

The New Business Consultant package:
• Uncapped commission
• £35,000 basic with £65,000 OTE
• Free onsite parking
• Monday-Friday working hours
• Stable, growing business with genuine long-term opportunities

You'll be responsible for:
• Managing inbound enquiries from prospective customers
• Converting warm leads into new business
• Closing sales over the telephone
• Following up enquiries to maximise conversion
• Guiding customers through the online sign-up process
• Building strong rapport with customers
• Handling objections and confidently asking for the business
• Working towards individual sales targets and KPIs

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is commercially driven, comfortable on the phone and enjoys working towards targets.

You'll ideally have:
• At least 2 years' experience in a telephone-based sales role
• A proven track record of closing sales over the phone
• Experience working towards sales targets and KPIs
• Strong communication and objection-handling skills
• A resilient and tenacious approach
• The motivation to maximise your earnings through commission
• Experience in telesales, internal sales, inbound sales, life insurance or high-volume B2B sales would be particularly relevant.
