Nursery Teacher - Islington
 Start Date: ASAP
 Interviews: Week commencing 3rd November 2025 
 Pay: £206.75 - £237.64 per day (PAYE)
 Contract: Until July 2026 (Full academic year)

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be partnering with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Islington, supporting them in the recruitment of a Nursery Teacher to join their dedicated Early Years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, creative, and passionate educator who is committed to providing children with an inspiring and nurturing foundation for lifelong learning.

The Role

Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, play-based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.

Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, support staff, and parents to ensure every child's progress and well-being are supported.

Use a variety of creative, hands-on teaching strategies to develop early literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional skills.

Monitor and assess children's development through accurate observations and ongoing assessment.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - please note, ECTs will not be considered at this time.

Has proven experience teaching within Early Years (Nursery or Reception).

Demonstrates a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and effective early years pedagogy.

Is passionate about early childhood education, with the ability to inspire curiosity and creativity in young learners.

Possesses excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
