Nursing Manager - Pre-Assessment | Spire Leicester Hospital | Oadby | Full Time | Permanent | Excellent Benefits Spire Leicester Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Manager to lead our Pre-Assessment service on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering a high-performing, patient-focused service while driving clinical quality, operational efficiency, and team development. Duties and Responsibilities As Nursing Manager, you will: * Lead and manage the Pre-Assessment service, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality patient care * Oversee the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care across multiple clinical teams * Provide strong clinical and operational leadership, supporting and developing your team * Deliver against key performance indicators, ensuring the efficient running of the department * Embed clinical governance, risk management, and continuous improvement into daily practice * Lead audits and service reviews, implementing action plans to drive improvements * Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards, including CQC requirements * Manage resources effectively, including staffing and stock control, working closely with finance colleagues * Build strong relationships with consultants and external stakeholders to support service growth * Identify and implement innovative approaches to enhance service delivery and patient experience * Promote a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion across the team * Ensure accurate and compliant handling of patient information in line with data protection requirements Who We're Looking For * Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration * Proven experience in a Ward Manager or similar leadership role * Previous experience within the independent healthcare sector * Substantial perioperative experience * Demonstrable experience of clinical audit, governance, and quality improvement * Management or leadership qualification (or working towards) * Evidence of ongoing professional development (CPD) * Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills * A proactive and forward-thinking approach to service development Benefits: We offer employed colleagues a competitive salary as well as a comprehensive benefits package which includes but is not limited to: * 35 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays * Employer and employee contributory pension with flexible retirement options * 'Spire for you' reward platform - discount and cashback for over 1000 retailers * Free Bupa wellness screening * Private medical insurance * Life assurance Our Values: We are extremely proud of our heritage in private healthcare and of our values as an organisation: Driving clinical excellence Doing the right thing Caring is our passion.
