Salary: Up to £43,014 | Full Time (40 hours/week)

As a Nurture Teacher, you will work with small groups of students, primarily those with (SEMH) needs, to help them develop essential life skills, build resilience, and engage in their education.
You will create a nurturing classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to succeed.
Your role will involve delivering bespoke learning programs focused on emotional literacy, social development, and core academic skills, while promoting a positive sense of well-being and self-esteem.
About
We are an Outstanding Independent SEN School with two locations. Our KS3 students are based at our South Birmingham site (B38), while KS4 and KS5 students attend our college site in North Worcestershire (B60).
We cater to students aged 11-19 with special educational needs, primarily related to Autism.
Our school provides a safe, low-sensory environment alongside an ambitious curriculum that includes a range of GCSEs and enrichment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Teach Nurture Lessons: Help students with their emotional, social, and academic skills.
* Create a Safe Classroom: Make the classroom a calm and supportive place for students.
* Provide Individual Support: Tailor lessons to meet each student’s needs.
* Work as a Team: Collaborate with other staff to support students.
* Track Progress: Check how students are doing and adjust support when needed.
* Offer Emotional Help: Teach students how to manage their feelings and build confidence.
* Manage Behavior: Use positive strategies to keep the classroom calm and focused.
Requirements
* Committed and passionate about supporting students with SEND
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a SEND setting or similar provision
* QTS/QTLS qualification
