Duties:
-Organising the movement of cargo across Europe and the UK for both groupage and full trailer loads.
-Communicating accurately in written and verbal form complex instructions to both Customers and Suppliers.
-Providing the highest standards of Customer service.
-Planning and communicating routes to our fleet of drivers.
-Minimising 'off route' mileage to maximise operational efficiency.
-Monitoring drivers' duty and driving time to ensure compliance is correctly followed.
-Processing customer orders through use of its own "in-house" operating system with an emphasis on attention to detail.
-Compiling customs documentation to facilitate shipment of our client's freight into
Europe.
-Building strong relationships with our clients, principally through verbal engagement.
-Quoting transport rates to customers in order to gain orders
-Communicating with colleagues in different departments to ensure internal procedures are followed correctly.
-Allocation of available resources (trucks,drivers, trailers) to meet clients demands.
