Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Operations Manager to lead and optimise the delivery of renewable energy installations. This position requires a proactive leader with strong operational expertise in domestic projects and exceptional project management capabilities to ensure efficiency, compliance, and outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:
Manage day-to-day operations and maintenance of renewable energy systems, ensuring consistent performance and adherence to best practices.
Develop and implement installation schedules to maintain steady workflow for field teams.
Track and analyse key performance indicators, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of managers and installers, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration.
Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training to maintain high standards of competency.Compliance & Safety:
Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the main escalation point for customer concerns, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.
Maintain strong communication with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies throughout project lifecycles.Financial Control:
Monitor budgets and operational costs, implementing strategies for cost savings and efficiency.
Work closely with commercial teams to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to enhance operational processes and team performance.Reporting:
Maintain accurate documentation of activities, performance metrics, and installation data.
Prepare regular reports for internal and external stakeholders on progress and outcomes.
Candidate Profile
Proven experience in operations management within renewable energy or domestic installation sectors.
Strong leadership and team development skills.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
