Operations Planner - Portsmouth
 Salary: £33,000 - £37,000 per year
 Hours: 40 hours per week (including weekend rota)

We are seeking an Operations Planner to join a busy operations team in Portsmouth. This is a hands-on role with excellent opportunities for career development within a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

Plan and coordinate vessel and terminal operations efficiently.

Manage and organise the operational workforce to meet daily requirements.

Ensure smooth operations while meeting deadlines and targets.

Build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels.

Monitor operational performance with awareness of financial and commercial factors.

Skills and experience we're looking for:

Some experience in shipping, logistics, or operations planning.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.

High attention to detail and conscientious approach.

Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Competent in IT, including Excel and Word.

Knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems is a plus.

Flexible to work rotating shifts, including weekends:

Typical shifts: 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00
