We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time KS2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and ambitious primary school in Romford. This role is for 3 days per week, starting January 2026, with a long-term placement until July 2026 and the possibility to extend from September 2026.
About the role
As a part-time KS2 teacher, you will deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire pupils. You will contribute to planning, assessment, and pupil progress tracking, creating a structured and stimulating learning environment. This role is ideal for a teacher who is flexible, collaborative, and committed to ensuring excellent outcomes for all children.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver creative, effective KS2 lessons in line with the curriculum.
Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.
Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to collaborative planning, team initiatives, and whole-school activities.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal development.
