Parts Advisor - Horsham | £30,000 salary, Monday-Friday hours & clear progression

We're recruiting for a Parts Advisor to join a well-established operation in Horsham, offering a stable, weekday-only role with genuine development opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting customers and internal teams by ensuring the right parts are supplied efficiently:

Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries, offering advice and processing orders by phone, email, or face-to-face

Accurately identifying and cataloguing components using EPC systems and technical manuals

Managing stock levels, completing stocktakes, and ensuring availability of fast-moving machinery parts

Sourcing components from manufacturers and suppliers, negotiating for cost-effective purchasing

Receiving deliveries, checking for discrepancies, and organising outbound despatch

Supporting engineers and service teams to keep jobs running on schedule within a plant hire environment

Handling invoices, returns, warranty claims, and maintaining accurate system records

Keeping the parts counter and display areas clean, organised, and sales-focused

What we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who brings reliability, organisation, and strong communication skills:

Previous experience in a parts, service, or technical support role

MUST have experience as a Parts Advisor - client will consider someone from other sectors outside of Plant 
Confidence using computer systems and electronic catalogues

A strong eye for detail and good organisational skills

Comfortable dealing with customers and internal stakeholders

A proactive approach and willingness to learn and develop
