Job Description

We are pleased to present an opportunity for a Commercial Vehicle Parts Advisor to join a reputable franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Avonmouth.
This Parts Advisor role offers the chance to work with a leading industry brand within a well-established local business. The successful Parts Advisor will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing parts enquiries, and ensuring accurate parts identification and dispatch.

  * Competitive salary between £30,000 and £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
  * Performance-related bonus scheme offering £300 per month plus 1% over 120% of monthly target
  * 22 days annual leave, plus bank holidays

Parts Advisor Duties:
  * Respond to trade and retail customer parts enquiries via face-to-face, email, and telephone communication
  * Accurately identify and process parts orders for collection or next-day dispatch
  * Ensure high standard of customer service throughout all interactions
  * Carry out parts stock control and inventory management
  * Supply parts to HGV technicians within the workshop efficiently
  * Cover for the Parts Delivery Driver during their absence when required
  * Maintain accurate records using electronic parts catalogue systems (experience with Kerridge/Keyloop is advantageous)
  * Support general workshop operations related to parts and stock management
Requirements:
  * Proven experience as a Parts Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership or motor factor business
  * Valuable experience with commercial vehicle parts, though not essential
  * Strong IT skills and familiarity with electronic parts catalogues
  * Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
  * Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
  * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  * Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
