Job Description

The Company

Our client is a specialist engineering company due to growth they need a Parts Sales Advisor

with plant, engineering or automotive equipment experience.

Job Role

  * As a Parts Sales Advisor, you will play a crucial role in advising and assisting customers with their parts needs, ranging from spares to accessories.

  * You will ensure the smooth operation of the parts department by providing excellent customer service, accurate parts identification and efficient stock management.

  * Customer Service: Advise customers on required vehicle parts via telephone, email and face-to-face.

  * Parts Identification: Accurately identify parts using Electronic Parts Catalogues and Dealer Management Systems.

  * Stock Management: Check stock availability, pick parts from the warehouse and manage stock levels.

  * Sales Maximisation: Drive sales of products and accessories and upsell where possible to achieve targets.

  * Internal Support: Efficiently distribute parts to service department technicians.

The Person

  * You will ideally have experience in a similar role.

  * Previous engineering/plant environment experience.

  * Previous parts look-up experience is preferred (e.g. in a dealership or motor factor environment)

  * Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude and a focus on delivering a high level of customer service.

  * Enthusiastic, team-focused and willing to learn.

  * Analytical approach to problem solving.

  * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)

  * Good IT skills.
