Job Description

Title: German Payroll Implementation Specialist
Salary: Up to €90,000
Location: Germany - Remote

About the Role
We are working with a leading payroll bureau seeking an experienced German Payroll Implementation Specialist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering end-to-end payroll solutions for clients, ensuring smooth implementation and accurate processing within the German payroll landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and manage end-to-end German payroll implementations for new and transitioning clients

  * Oversee the full payroll lifecycle, including setup, configuration, testing, and go-live support

  * Process German payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness

  * Act as a subject matter expert on German payroll regulations, tax, and social security requirements

  * Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored payroll solutions

  * Identify and resolve payroll and system-related issues during implementation and processing

  * Provide training and support to clients and internal teams post-implementation

  * Ensure all processes comply with local legislation and best practice standards

What They’re Looking For

  * Proven experience in end-to-end German payroll processing

  * Strong background in end-to-end payroll implementation projects

  * In-depth knowledge of German payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements

  * Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken)

  * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  * Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment

  * Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
