This temporary role as a Payroll Systems Lead in the public sector involves overseeing payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant policies. They are focused on maintaining high standards in their operations and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Description Manage and oversee payroll systems to ensure smooth and accurate operations. Ensure compliance with relevant public sector policies and regulations. Identify and implement improvements to payroll processes and systems. Collaborate with the accounting & finance team to address payroll-related queries. Provide technical expertise and guidance on payroll system issues. Prepare and present payroll reports for management review. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees. Support system upgrades and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.Profile A successful Payroll Systems Lead should have: Proven experience in payroll systems (Oracle Fusion) within the public sector. Strong knowledge of accounting & finance principles. Technical expertise in payroll software and systems. Ability to analyse and improve payroll processes effectively. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Experience ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.Job Offer Competitive daily rate of £600 - £650. 3 days on site per week Opportunity to work within a large public sector organisation.
