Planning Conditions Officer -
Hybrid working (flexible arrangements for non-local candidates)
£50-55 per hour (DOE)

Take the lead on a unique Planning Conditions project within a busy Local Authority Development Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to reduce the backlog of condition discharge applications while helping modernise the council's approach to planning conditions.
Key responsibilities:
·Manage a caseload focused on condition discharge applications
·Review and improve standard planning conditions
·Develop a long-term conditions monitoring strategy
·Drive service improvements and best practice
·Provide planning advice to a range of stakeholders
Requirements:
·UK Local Authority Development Management experience
·Strong knowledge of planning conditions and planning legislation
·Excellent report writing and communication skills
·Proactive approach to service improvement
