Director of Planning – Birmingham – Planning & Design Consultancy
Salary: £75,000 – £115,000 pa, dependent on experience + excellent benefits

Fraser Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-established, growing Planning & Design consultancy to appoint a Director of Planning for their Birmingham office.

About The Role

We are seeking a senior planning professional to take a key leadership role within the Birmingham team. This is an opportunity to oversee planning delivery, contribute to strategic growth, and work closely with colleagues across the wider business.

The role will involve leadership, client engagement, project oversight, and business development, with scope to shape the direction of the office and influence its future growth.

About You

You are likely to be a Chartered Town Planner with significant experience within consultancy, public sector, client-side, or a combination thereof. You will be comfortable operating at a senior level, managing complex planning matters and building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.

You will bring leadership capability, commercial awareness, and an appetite to contribute to the wider success of the business. Experience in team management and business development will be advantageous, though exact backgrounds are flexible.
