Job Title: Prepress Operator
Location: Broadstairs, Kent
Contract: Temp on going
Salary: £14.00 p/h DOE
About the Role:
You will be responsible for creating and adapting artwork, ensuring files are print-ready, and supporting the production team with high-quality outputs. This role requires strong technical knowledge of prepress workflows and excellent attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and finalise artwork using Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
* Adapt customer designs to meet litho printing specifications.
* Set up layouts, templates, and impositions for CTP output.
* Perform preflight checks, trapping, bleed adjustments, and colour separations.
* Collaborate with account managers and production teams to resolve artwork issues.
* Maintain organised file management and support workflow improvements.
Skills & Requirements:
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
* Strong understanding of lithographic printing processes and colour management.
* Experience preparing files for CTP output and plate-making.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
