Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: South Leicestershire

 Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next challenge?

 We are recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic HLTA to join a friendly, inclusive and supportive primary school in South Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential in a warm and positive learning environment.

 Role Overview 
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will play an important part in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your duties will include:

Delivering learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes
Providing targeted academic support
Leading small group interventions
Assisting teachers in planning and assessing pupils’ progress
Creating a safe, engaging and nurturing classroom environment
Supporting pupils with varying abilities and needs
Contributing positively to whole-school life and team collaborationNo two days will be the same, and you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children every day.
 About You We are looking for someone who is motivated, confident and passionate about supporting children. You should have:

A HLTA qualification or significant experience working at HLTA level
Strong behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
The ability to engage and motivate pupils
A patient, caring and positive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
