Job Title: Classroom Teacher - Part-Time (0.9 FTE)

Location: Stockbridge Village, Merseyside
 Start Date: 5th January 2026
 Contract Type: Temporary, Fixed-Term until 31st August 2026
 Key Stage: Key Stage 1 / Key Stage 2 (depending on placement)
 Salary: £32,916 - £51,048 per annum (M1-M6, dependent on experience)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Classroom Teacher to join a friendly and professional team on a temporary, part-time basis from 5th January 2026. This role is ideal for a dedicated practitioner who wants to make a positive impact in a supportive school environment.

Role Responsibilities:

The successful Classroom Teacher will:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent and effective teaching.
Use formative and summative assessments to monitor pupil progress and inform planning.
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND.
Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment that fosters respect, independence, and curiosity.
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and wider school life, including enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities. 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices.
Excellent organisational, communication, and teamworking skills.
A reflective and forward-thinking approach to teaching and learning.
Commitment to inclusive practice and raising achievement for all pupils.
High expectations for pupil behaviour, effort, and outcomes.
