About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated, passionate Primary Teacher to join an inclusive Primary school in Knowle, Bristol. Key Responsibilities

As a KS2 Primary Teacher, you will:

  * Have high expectations of children to ensure they achieve their full educational potential at KS2

  * Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in KS2 classes

  * Demonstrate and teach lessons which are consistently ‘good’ or better and work with colleagues to become an ‘outstanding’ teacher

  * Have knowledge of a range of approaches to assessment, including questioning, oral assessment and self-assessment and the importance of formative assessment at KS2

  * Maintain a secure knowledge and understanding of your phase(s) and related pedagogy to enable you to teach effectively at the Academy across KS2

Person Specification

  * Degree in relevant Subject

  * QTS (Qualified teaching status)

  * Experience of teaching in a primary school setting (KS2 teaching experience a bonus)

  * A hardworking and highly motivated work ethic

  * A commitment to the education and well-being of all pupils
