Veritas Education is partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Greenwich to recruit a committed and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team from December 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is well known for its nurturing culture and strong commitment to helping every child achieve their full potential. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing one-to-one and small-group support to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and build positive relationships within the classroom.

The Ideal Primary Teaching Assistant Will Have:
Proven experience supporting children in a primary school environment (essential)
Understanding of strategies that support learning, communication, and behaviour
Patience, empathy, and resilience when working with children with additional needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and parents
Main Responsibilities Include:
Providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support to pupils
Assisting the class teacher with delivering differentiated learning activities
Supporting pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Using creative strategies and resources to promote engagement and understanding
Monitoring progress and sharing observations with the class teacher and SENCO
Helping to maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
