Job Description

Are you a driven procurement professional ready to take ownership of a high-impact role in a fast-growing food business?

This is an exciting opportunity to shape sourcing strategy, manage key supplier relationships, and play a pivotal part in the company’s expansion into UK retail. Operating remotely, you’ll enjoy real autonomy with the backing of a supportive central team, working across multiple categories to deliver innovation and commercial success. You will be responsible for, but not limited to:
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and new suppliers across Europe and globally.
• Evaluate, compare, and negotiate competitive supplier offers to ensure best value and sustainable supply.
• Lead contract negotiations and establish long-term strategic agreements.
• Collaborate closely with NPD and Technical teams to plan ranges, launch new products, and resolve supply challenges.
• Stay ahead of market trends, identifying new opportunities and innovative sourcing solutions.

What’s required?
• Relevant university degree.
• Minimum 10 years’ procurement experience in the food sector with proven commercial success.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and project management skills.
• Excellent analytical and numerical ability with proficiency in Excel.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude and strong organisational skills.
• Sound understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Fluent in English; an additional European language is an advantage.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.
• IT literate.

Desirable:
• Existing network of trusted food suppliers.
