BAE - Submarine Solutions (SS) is currently seeking a skilled Procurement Professional to join their team in Barrow. This contract role is essential to support their procurement supply chain within the submarine sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services
Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
Negotiating contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers
Analysing market trends to identify potential procurement opportunities
Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation
Collaborating with internal teams to meet project requirements and deadlines
Implementing strategies to enhance procurement efficiency
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in procurement within a supply chain environment
Strong negotiation and contract management skills

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Security Clearance (SC) required
