Job Description

Production Controller – £35,000 to £37,000
An established engineering manufacturer in Oxfordshire is seeking a Production Controller to join its specialist Pyrotechnic department. In this position, you will coordinate key data-processing activities and support the shipment of safety-critical components used within aerospace escape systems.
Working collaboratively with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing teams, you will help ensure products are processed correctly the first time, meet all regulatory standards, and are dispatched to customers on schedule. Your role will also involve monitoring stock levels, supporting production flow, and maintaining accurate production records.
You’ll be joining a business that supplies life-saving technology to aerospace customers worldwide, where you’ll be encouraged to share ideas, improve processes, and act as a knowledgeable point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
  * Create and maintain ammunition data cards
  * Process contract data requirement lines
  * Manage order book information and delivery reporting
  * Support the Shipping team with outbound dispatches
  * Compile, review and present production documentation for customer approval
  * Check production and packing paperwork for booking accuracy
  * Work closely with Production Control, Engineering and Quality to support production schedules and reduce defects
What You’ll Need
  * Experience in data processing or process coordination within a technical or manufacturing setting
  * Strong organisational skills and confident handling numerical and written data
  * High accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing documentation
  * GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C or above
  * Knowledge of US Government packing and shipping standards is beneficial but not required
