This hands-on role which combines production planning, maintenance, electrical and control systems, SCADA, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
You will work closely with Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams to maximise plant availability, optimise production and maintain the highest safety standards.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday with start times of around 07:30 - 16:00 with some flexibility.
Overtime available with an on call rota possibly in the future.
36 days annual leave (incl of public hols)

Cycle to Work scheme and season ticket loan.Key responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Plan hydrogen production in line with customer demand
Support planned and reactive maintenance
Maintain plant records, inspections and maintenance history
Analyse plant performance
Coordinate hydrogen logistics
Configure, maintain and troubleshoot PLCs
Support the site's operational technology (OT) infrastructure
Produce and maintain RAMS, permits to work, isolation certificates and operational procedures
Support compliance with Electrical Safety Rules, DSEAR, ATEX (BS EN 60079) and Functional Safety (BS EN 61511).
Investigate incidents, implement corrective actions
Ensure hydrogen product quality meets specification
Assist with procurement of maintenance materials
Support commissioning, inspections and maintenance activities Qualifications:
HNC, Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls or Process Engineering.
Electrical qualification with experience working on industrial electrical systems (up to 11kV desirable).
Appointed Person/Senior Appointed Person status, or willingness to work towards.
ATEX and Functional Safety qualifications are advantageous.Essential Experience
EC&I within a process or industrial plant environment.
Practical knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
Experience producing RAMS, permits and technical documentation.
Knowledge of industrial electrical safety practices.Desirable Experience
Hydrogen production, gas processing or high-pressure process plant
Working on electrical systems up to 11kV.
