The Company
SRG are delighted to again be partnered with an innovative chemical & pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in the Greater Glasgow area. Having recently completed a successful funding round they are looking to expand their laboratory support team by bringing in a production technician on a full time, permanent basis.
The Role
As Production Technician your primary responsibility will be to ensure the day-to-day maintenance of the production laboratories. This involves a wide variety of tasks however a large portion of your time will be spent ensuring lab equipment cleanliness (glassware, instrumentation, work surfaces, etc.). As well as this you will work closely with the wider lab support team and production chemistry team to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.

This role is perfect for chemistry/forensic/biochemistry graduates looking for their first step in an industrial role. To succeed in this position you will;
Possess a chemistry degree (or similar)
Have demonstrable experience in a laboratory environment
Have a solid foundational understanding of laboratory health & safety protocols
Be able to communicate effectively with colleagues
