Production Manager (Progression to Production Director)

Colne, Lancashire (On-Site)
 £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus (OTE £55,000 - £65,000)

The Opportunity

KO2's client is an established and growing engineering business entering a major phase of manufacturing transformation.

They are looking for a Production Manager to take ownership of the production function, with a clear pathway to Production Director within 12 months.

This is a hands-on role with real influence-ideal for someone who wants to step up, drive change, and progress into senior leadership.

The Role

You'll lead a production reset, focusing on quality, process, and performance:

Own end-to-end production operations
Implement structured processes and quality controls
Introduce FTPR (First Time Pass Rate) and production metrics
Develop in-process and end-of-line testing systems
Drive continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Build a high-performance, accountable teamAbout You

Strong background in production engineering
Electro-mechanical experience essential
Proven experience in test, quality, and process improvement
Comfortable with data, systems, and digital tools
Ambitious, hands-on, and driven to progressProgression

This role is designed as a Director pathway:

Start as Production Manager (Delegate Director level)
Promotion to Production Director within 12 months
