Project Architect
Location: Portsmouth
Salary: £40-45,000 DOE

An established and highly regarded architectural studio is looking to appoint a Project Architect to join its welcoming team in Portsmouth. With more than three decades of experience delivering exceptional schemes across the South of England, the practice is well known for its work within the residential, commercial and heritage sectors. This position provides an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects from initial concept through to final delivery within a collaborative, design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the design and delivery of projects across residential, commercial and heritage sectors
* Manage schemes through various RIBA stages, maintaining high design and technical standards
* Produce and coordinate planning submissions, building regulations packages and detailed construction drawings
* Liaise effectively with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure efficient project progression
* Ensure all work complies with current UK Building Regulations and industry standards
* Provide support and guidance to junior team members

About You

* Degree or HNC/HND in Architecture, Architectural Technology or a related field
* Demonstrated experience working as a Project Architect within a UK practice
* Strong track record of delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
* Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
* Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
* Strong communication, organisational and coordination abilities
* Self-motivated, confident and able to manage workload independently
