Project Manager – Facade & Re-Cladding

Plymouth / South West | £300–£330 per day | 12-18Month Contract

A well-established façade contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to oversee façade remediation and re-cladding projects across the Plymouth area.

The business operates nationwide with a turnover of circa £30m and works with a range of major housebuilders and developers. With a strong order book for the next two years and an in-house design capability, they have a growing pipeline of remediation work across the South West.

The Role

Acting as Principal Contractor, you will take full responsibility for projects typically valued between £1m–£5m, involving the removal of existing cladding systems, installation of new fire barriers and reinstatement of compliant façade systems on occupied buildings.

Responsibilities will include:

  * Full project and programme management

  * Managing façade remediation and re-cladding works

  * Labour and subcontractor management

  * Client liaison and progress meetings

  * Overseeing QA and project documentation

  * Health & safety management

  * Coordinating with the in-house design and commercial teams

  * Managing works within occupied residential environments

  * Driving projects through to completion and handover

The Candidate

You must have a proven façade trade background with previous experience delivering façade remediation, recladding or EWS projects.

You will need strong programming and organisational skills, a good understanding of fire barriers and façade systems, and the ability to confidently manage clients, labour, health & safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Package

£300–£330 per day
Initial 12-month contract
