Job Description

Project Manager - HV (Up to 132kV / BESS)

📍 Location: Hybrid (Office based in Bromsgrove)
 ⏱️ Hours: 40 hours per week (core hours)

The Opportunity

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing and dynamic infrastructure business delivering HV/LV and energy projects, including 132kV and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems).

This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from home, with occasional office attendance (once every couple of weeks) and site travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are met
Manage a portfolio of projects, maintaining accurate reporting (internal & external)
Collaborate with Business Development, Tendering, and Design teams to ensure alignment with client requirements
Coordinate stakeholders including clients, contractors, and local authorities
Plan and manage project programmes and delivery schedules
Oversee financial control, budgets, and variations
Procure labour, subcontractors, materials, and plant
Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications
Conduct audits and ensure quality assurance and final sign-offEssential Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager within HV/LV installations (up to 132kV)
Experience in contestable connections and/or BESS projects
Minimum 3 years' experience (5+ years preferred)
Project Management qualification
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong organisational and time management skills
Confident decision-making under pressure
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness and proficiency in Microsoft Project & MS OfficeDesirable

HNC (or equivalent) in a related discipline
SSSTS or SMSTS
DNO competency certification / Electrician / Electrical Fitter background
CSCS Card
Emergency First Aid
