Our client, a leading specialist in the design and manufacture of commercial livestock vehicles, is seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician to join their growing team. Job Description:
As a Fully Qualified Electrician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems within our client's manufactured products. Your responsibilities will include:
Installing and maintaining electrical systems in compliance with relevant standards and safety regulations.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment.
Collaborating with design, production, and electrical teams to deliver reliable and compliant electrical solutions.
Conducting inspections to identify potential electrical faults and resolving them promptly.
Maintaining accurate records of work, including testing and maintenance logs.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of electrical processes and standards.
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Fully Qualified Electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., 18th Edition or equivalent).
Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical installations.
Experience in automotive wiring is a plus, but not essential.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and electrical codes/regulations.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance in electrical work.
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Benefits:
Full-time, permanent position.
Monday to Friday, 8 am - 4:45 pm (40 hours per week).
Overtime opportunities available Monday to Saturday, with weekly bonuses.
