Quality Control Assistant – Pharmaceutical

🌍 The Opportunity
As a Quality Control Assistant, you’ll be the crucial link between Quality and Production. You’ll be carrying out in-process checks, reviewing documentation, and making sure every batch meets the high standards expected within a regulated pharmaceutical facility.
You’ll work directly in the production rooms, supporting colleagues, maintaining compliance, and ensuring that each job runs smoothly from start to finish. Your work will directly influence the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of the whole operation.
💡 What You’ll Be Doing
* Performing in-process checks and quality inspections to ensure products are packed and labelled correctly
* Briefing production teams at the start of each job so the correct processes and licence requirements are followed
* Reviewing, signing, and preparing batch records for QP release
* Monitoring compliance against GMP and SOPs, and reporting deviations promptly
* Supporting reconciliation, room clearances, and documentation accuracy
* Training and guiding production colleagues to maintain consistently high standards
* Keeping systems updated - which will include moving stock to the correct location and completing required QC documentation
In short: you’ll help make sure every batch is right, compliant, and safe!

* Comfortable escalating concerns and contributing to continuous improvement.
Experience in the pharmaceutical sector, quality checks, or GMP environments is beneficial, but the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are just as important.
