Quality Engineer (Regulated Manufacturing) £60,000 - £65,000 + Flexible Working + Annual Pay Review + Well Being Package + Private Healthcare Bridgwater Are you a commercial aware, experienced Quality Engineer ready to take ownership of quality across a busy production site that supplies cutting-edge materials to multiple high-growth industries? Founded over 20 years ago, this company has grown to a £60m turnover business that manufactures high-quality nonwoven and engineered textile products for a wide range of industries including medical, healthcare, filtration, hygiene, construction and industrial applications. They pride themselves on their strong reputation for quality and working closely with global customers to deliver bespoke, high-performance materials. This role is focused on leading complex customer quality matters, strengthening quality engineering capability and ensuring that key processes such as complaints, deviations, CAPA and risk management are applied consistently and effectively. You will carry out inspections, investigations and root cause analysis, while playing a key part in continuous improvement across the business. This role would suit a Quality Engineer from a manufacturing background who is looking to join a long-established company with a modern outlook and strong plans for continued growth. The Role: Act as a senior quality interface for complex or high-impact customer, supplier and internal quality matters Lead structured investigations and ensure timely, effective corrective and preventive actions Support customer escalations, audits and performance discussions with professionalism and credibility Coach Quality Engineers to improve the quality of investigations, customer communication and issue resolution Own and improve core quality processes, including complaints, deviations, CAPA, control plans, PFMEA and risk management Use quality data, trends and KPIs to identify systemic issues and prioritise improvement activityThe Person: Proven experience in a senior Quality Engineering or equivalent role within manufacturing Good knowledge of quality management systems and standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, AS9100 or equivalentIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
