Position: Quality Inspector

Location: Haverhill, Suffolk

Salary: £15 P/H

Contract Type: Full time, temp to perm

Hours: Monday to Friday, Day shift. No weekends

An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector for our client based in Haverhill, Suffolk.

As a Quality Inspector you will be responsible for:

  * Inspect components before/during/after to ensure they meet specification

  * Read & interpret drawings/specifications and manage inspection/test plans (ITPs)

  * Identify defects, raise NCRs (non‐conformance reports), quarantine non-conforming parts, work with production / process engineering to implement corrective/preventive actions.

  * Maintain calibration of measuring tools & ensure inspection equipment is in spec.

An ideal candidate for the Quality Inspector will have:

  * Strong understanding of quality systems

  * Manufacturing or engineering background:
