Quality Technician
Eastleigh, Hampshire
£28,000 – £32,000 DOE + Benefits

 Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a passion for precision and continuous improvement? Our precision manufacturing client in Eastleigh is looking for a Quality Technician to join their growing team and support high-reliability production.

 The Role

Incoming inspection of machined/moulded parts, including aesthetics.
Carry out First Article Inspections (FAIRs) to AS9102 standard.
Perform internal calibration on gauges, weighing scales and test equipment.
In-process and final inspection of electronic/electromechanical assemblies.
Support quality investigations, audits, customer returns and NCR management.
Promote quality awareness and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate documentation to ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.About You

 Essential:

Proven quality inspection experience in manufacturing/engineering.
Read/interpret engineering drawings, GD&T and specifications.
Competent with manual tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMMs.
Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100.
Methodical, detail-focused team player with strong communication.Desirable:

Aerospace/defence experience.
IPC-A-610 / IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification.
