Job Description

SG Personnel are working with an established manufacturing business, based in Gateshead, who are looking to recruit a Quality Technician, to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include:
  * Liaising directly with all customers
  * Complete detailed product and process audits in line with IATF16949
  * Assist in the training of personnel in aspects of business processes
  * Conduct periodic capability studies, MSA and calibration
  * Carry out inspections where required, including routine testing
  * Support engineering activities, including assembly drawing translations
The successful candidate will require the following:
  * Computer literate; Microsoft skills
  * Auditor and problem solving skills
  * A current driving license
  * Experience of cosmetic panel manufacturing processes
  * Understand customer drawings and specifications
  * Quality, Engineering and tooling skills
Some desirable skills and experience include:
  * IATF16949 Auditor qualification
  * Minimum of 2 years experience working within automotive
  * Assembly and Jig making skills
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday, 7.30am-4.30pm. Friday, 7.30am-12.30pm.
The annual salary is up to £30,000, dependent upon experience
