Remuneration: £50,000 - £60,000 + bonus (profit share)

The role of Quantity Surveyor – Electrical & M&E will involve:

  * Quantity Surveyor position dealing with Electrical services and M&E

  * Dealing with projects typically across the central belt of Scotland

  * Meeting with clients for site visits building relationships

  * Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

  * Producing formal quotations to customers

  * Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

  * Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

  * Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information

  * Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

  * Working on projects ranging from £1m - £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Quantity Surveyor – Electrical & M&E with

  * Must have Quantity Surveying experience within Electrical or M&E market sectors

  * Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

  * Strong knowledge of contract documents, construction practices and techniques

  * Highly organised with good attention to detail

  * Excellent communicator written and verbally

  * Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

  * Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  * Good team player who also works well individually
