We are supporting a well-established contractor operating within specialist civil engineering and complex groundworks to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work on large, technically challenging schemes involving foundations, piling, geotechnical works, and key infrastructure. You'll be joining a business known for its engineering capability, collaborative culture, and strong pipeline of secured work.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the commercial function across assigned projects from pre-construction to final account.
Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract packages.
Produce accurate monthly valuations, variations, and cost reports.
Maintain robust forecasting and financial control throughout all project phases.
Ensure compliance with internal commercial procedures and governance.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients and project teams.
About You
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, ground engineering, piling, or infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of NEC or similar contract forms.
Confident managing multiple packages and working independently.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Commercially astute with strong attention to detail.
