Quantity Surveyor

£43,700 - £59,160 Plus package

TSR Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a nationwide developer with strong presence and exceptional reputation. Due to growth and new developments due to start, an experienced Quantity Surveyor is required to join the successful and established commercial team based in SW Yorkshire, focusing on regional developments.

The Role:

Manage costs, budgets, cash flow and procurement to drive commercial performance.
Oversee subcontractors, including procurement, valuations, payments and performance.
Produce cost reports, forecasts and valuations; identify savings and manage risks.
Support site teams, controlling spend and contributing to programme delivery.
Build strong relationships with internal teams, subcontractors and external partners.
Ensure compliance with company policies, specifications and Health & Safety standards.
Support junior team members and contribute to reporting and commercial planning.

The Person:

Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of construction processes.
Experience in cost control, financial management and reporting.
Proficient in COINS and MS Excel.
Good knowledge of industry regulations (e.g. Building Regs, NHBC, HSE, CDM).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proactive, driven and able to manage multiple priorities.
Flexible to travel between sites.
